Testimonial of Robin Sigley
Robin Sigley
For years I lived with chronic medical health issues:
migraines, allergies/asthma, GI, neurological and orthopedic problems. I
spent thousands of dollars on doctors and medications to deal with my
symptoms. At each visit I would ask my doctor, “What is causing this
problem? Shouldn’t we look for the root of the problem instead of medicating
it?” What finally finished me was the day my neurologist suggested injecting
Botox into my head to deal with my migraines. I couldn’t believe that
putting a neurotoxin into my body was the way to deal with these horrendous
headaches.
At the very least, I was disillusioned and felt hopeless to ever change my health. One day, while at work as a hand therapist, I met Dr. Fred Rossi. I was amazed at how well his body healed after a serious laceration to two of the tendons in his finger. In fact, in the 30 years that I have been a therapist, I have never seen a patient recover the way he did. We began talking about the concept of wellness and the body’s innate power to heal. I was intrigued and decided to schedule an appointment for an evaluation at his office. The events that followed have been a journey toward wellness.
Most people look to document improvements in one’s health by a comparison of before and after photos or by a measure of “how they feel”. If that were my case, then it would appear that I am a total failure at my wellness program. Consider however, that I used to take over 20 potent prescription medications every day and now I do not take even one! Consider the fact that my x-rays looked like I was an 80 year old woman and that I did not have any space between vertebra in my cervical spine. Seven months after starting the wellness program I actually have space and the annoying numbness that persisted daily in my right arm is gone.
I will not say it has been easy. Old habits die hard. I still have pain sometimes. But for the first time I have hope. And like my mother says, ”It is more important to be beautiful on the inside than on the outside. If you start with the insides, the beauty will shine through.” And so it is with wellness! It starts on the inside, correcting the subluxations in the most vital part of your body—your nervous system. Also, I have become totally aware of the fact that what I put into my body significantly affects its functioning. Why is it that we would never put the wrong gas into our car but we have no problem putting junk into our bodies? And we tune up our cars, don’t we? How much effort is given to keeping our bodies in good shape?
We all have to start somewhere. My only regret is that I did not have this information sooner!
