I'm a licensed chiropractor, nutritionist, and was fitness trainer in
college. I am a member of the Wellness Advisory Council through
the Maximized Living program, bringing these principles to Olympic level
athletes in Wrestling, Judo, Weightlifting and Professional Soccer.
I've dedicated my career to showing all types of people, from elite athletes to the laziest couch potatoes how to lose weight and reach optimum health with the least amount of time and effort. I've experimented with every wacky diet out there and tried each new exercise fad as it came around. I've spent countless hours researching the scientific studies to stay on the cutting edge of how our bodies work.

I have a busy practice at my clinic, and I travel around the country to meet with the leading doctors in health care today. I live an extremely full and busy life and like you, I don't always have time to drive to and from the gym and work out for hours every week.
The most common reason people give for not working out regularly is that "it's not fun" and "it takes too long." Because of that I developed an amazingly powerful system for losing weight and changing fat to lean muscle that only takes a few minutes a day, and you can do it anyplace -- at home, at work during lunch hour, or even in your car at a red light! You've heard the saying, "Work smarter, not harder." Believe me, it applies to exercise just as much as anything else you do.
One key principle:
When you perform “anaerobic” cardio you build a bigger heart and lungs
Heart and lungs are muscles, albeit slightly different than skeletal
muscles. They have more red fibers, because they have to obviously work (at
low intensity) 24/7.
Because your heart and lungs are muscles similar to your skeletal muscles,
they respond in a similar way to exercise.
So if you want a smaller heart and a smaller pair of lungs, keep jogging
long distances.
If you want a bigger heart (with more stroke volume) and more of an ability
to recover from an intense challenge (whether it be a physical, mental,
emotional, or spiritual challenge) then start doing High Intensity Interval
Cardio.
Same thing with lungs. Do interval cardio to build the size and capacity of
your lungs. Doing low intensity, jogging type cardio will decrease your
lungs’ size and capacity.
As far as living long and strong, the size of your lungs are extremely
important.
As you age, it is very important that you maintain as much lung capacity as
you can. High Intensity Interval Cardio is the key for this.
Study the info from the Framingham Heart Study and you will be convinced of the importance of a bigger and stronger heart & lunges when it comes to aging gracefully.

Most people trying to lose weight are doing all the wrong things through no fault of their own. There's so much information out there and much of it is total crap. Some of it is borderline criminal. "It's Not Your Fault -- THEY Make It Much Harder and More Complicated Than It Really Is..."
The last thing you need is to fill your head with more conflicting information from the "experts."
This expert says aerobic exercise is the key. But that one says you need resistance training. Another says don't do that, you'll probably injure yourself. Then that one says just eating less at meals will do the trick. Unless you want to listen to that expert who says you should eat nothing but red meat because of your blood type.
The worst thing is they pretty much all sound like they know what they're talking about, and I'm sure they all believe what they're saying. But you can't do all those different things at once...

"Scientifically tested to Burn Calories 5 Times As Fast..."
When it comes to exercise most people subscribe to the accepted wisdom, which is you need to spend several hours a week in intense exercise, usually in a gym. Of course, most people also don't do this, mainly because we're all busy and can't find an extra two hours in our day to go to the gym.
Instead, I use a little-known exercise technique that concentrates on short bursts of intense activity, instead of long periods of purely aerobic exercise. A study at Colorado State University showed that four minutes of Burst exercise burned the same number of calories as 20 minutes of a more traditional workout.
One way to measure how effective your workouts are is to measure insulin function. Another study reported in the Journal of Physiology and Experimental Physiology compared a group of young men who did their normal workout of several hours a week with another group that did short, intense Burst exercises for a mere 7 1/2 minutes a week. The study found the insulin function basically the same for both groups.
Yet another study found that subjects doing Burst exercises actually burned more fat than those doing standard aerobic activity -- in fact they continued burning fat for up to 24 hours after finishing their few minutes of exercise. The scientific evidence is clear that the old ways of working out are obsolete. You need to work out smarter, not harder.
